UAB “The Critical”, with legal entity code 304562858, and its registered office located at Kęstučio g. 32, Vilnius, (“data controller”) has prepared this privacy policy to ensure the protection of its customers’ personal data. Within this document, you will find information regarding the personal data we process, the grounds for processing it, the security measures we implement, and the rights you have as data subjects.

1. WHAT IS CONSIDERED PERSONAL DATA?

 

1.1. Personal data is considered to be any information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a particular person. For example, personal data is considered to be a person’s name, surname, phone number, e-mail address, internet identifier.

2.1. We carry out various market studies, during which we collect certain information about you and the information that you provide to us when participating in the research. For this purpose:

2.1.1. We collect and process the following personal data about you: name and surname; e-mail address, other data that you provide in the survey questionnaire and/or other research materials. If you participate in the research for consideration, we may additionally ask you to provide the data necessary for concluding the contract and issuing an invoice (for example, your personal identification number, address of residence, etc.);

2.1.2. We process data only with your consent and receive all of them only from you;

2.1.3. We do not provide data to anyone, i.e. only we are the data controller;

2.1.4. The data is processed by our personal data processors in the performance of technical functions. You can find information about them below in this privacy policy;

2.1.5. We process the data for the following period: 1 year.

2.2. We organise various events, during which we collect certain information about you, which is necessary for organising the event and participating in it. For this purpose:

2.2.1. We collect and process the following personal data about you: name and surname; e-mail address; phone number; the city of residence; the organization represented. If there is an objective need, additional information may also be collected;

2.2.2. We process data only with your consent and receive all of them only from you;

2.2.3. We do not provide data to anyone, i.e. only we are the data controller;

2.2.4. The data is processed by our personal data processors in the performance of technical functions. You can find information about them below in this privacy policy;

2.2.5. We process the data for the following period: 1 year.

3. ON WHAT GROUNDS DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

 

3.1. We process your personal data only on legitimate grounds, strictly in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.

3.2. We collect and process your personal data only:

3.2.1. After you have given your consent to the processing of your personal data on other grounds, for example, for the purpose of conducting a market research;

3.2.2. Fulfilling the mandatory requirements of the law that apply to us, for example, to issue an invoice.

4. WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE?

 

4.1. Right of access to my personal data processed. You have the right to contact us and get acquainted with your personal data, which we process.

4.2. Right to withdraw consent to the processing of my personal data. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.

4.3. Modification and correction of data. If you notice that your personal data being processed is inaccurate or incomplete, you can contact us to change and clarify it.

4.4. Prohibition of processing of personal data. You have the right to prohibit us from processing your personal data and to request that we no longer process the data and delete your personal data that is already being processed. However, we draw your attention to the fact that in certain cases we will not be able to comply with your request and will continue to be obliged to process certain of your data. Such cases include: data is necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected or processed; the processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests; data is necessary for us to process for the purpose of asserting, enforcing or defending legal claims; we are obliged to process the data by applicable laws or regulations.

4.5. Right to restrict the processing of personal data. You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if your personal data is inaccurate and /or processed unlawfully, but you do not agree to the erasure of your data and (or) your personal data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, and (or) your personal data is processed if you object to such processing of personal data. If you exercise your right to restrict the processing of your personal data, we will terminate all data processing activities, except for the storage of your personal data.

4.6. Right to have my personal data transferred. This right means that you can receive from us, in a structured, commonly used, computer-readable and interoperable format, the personal data you provide, which we process by automated means.

Upon receipt of your request, we may, if necessary, ask you to provide your identity documents, as well as other additional information and /or documents necessary for us in connection with the request. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but not longer than within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of your request and the submission of all necessary documents and information

6. CAN I ALWAYS EXERCISE MY RIGHTS?

 

6.1. In certain cases, laws or regulations have granted us the right or impose a mandatory obligation not to comply with your requests for the exercise of rights. In such cases, the following are considered:

6.1.1. We must fulfil the obligations imposed on us by laws and regulations;

6.1.2. For reasons relating to state security or defence;

6.1.3. For reasons related to public order, prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences;

6.1.4. In order to satisfy important economic or financial interests of the state;

6.1.5. In the prevention, investigation and detection of violations of official or professional ethics;

6.1.6. To ensure the protection of your rights and freedoms or those of others.

7. WHAT HELPS US TO PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?

 

7.1. In order to carry out our activities, we use the services of third parties, the provision of which may require the transfer of certain of your personal data to the aforementioned third parties who provide services. We transfer personal data to third parties (“processors of personal data”) only after signing contracts that oblige them to process personal data in strict accordance with our requirements and those established by legal acts. The agreements also contain provisions that are designed to protect your data from any improper processing of data. We may transfer personal data to the following service providers:

7.1.1. Companies providing website hosting (hosting) and maintenance services that host and maintain our website and other information systems used;

7.1.2. Persons providing us with accounting, legal and other similar services;
